[hometext] => Hershey's Kisses- was my first attempt to write a romantic poem from the point of view of a man instead of a woman.
[bodytext] => “hershey’s kisses in my car”
by lisa hebets As I Lazily turn back around, ears clearly heard a sound, Seems my heart has already found the cause of this weakness coming down. My eyes strain to catch a glimpse Yet my mind hasn't a hint butterflies start an internal decent my stomach clenches without relent. I'm not sure I ever felt this way, or found myself so easily called astray Then I see her shadow dance slipping closer until I glance, A girl with whom I've casual romance is casting a spell on me to entrance! She's whispering to me from a far, sending me rainbows and shooting stars Hershey's kisses left in my car as though they're awaiting, my remark. An image of you plays again of a moment when pleasure bred sin the very desire I feel growing within is the same I swore I'd never give in. Still I know, a smile or kiss then no chance at all for cupid to miss I wonder, do I even want to resist, or simply fall prisoner, to your bliss [comments] => 1 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 2 [informant] => poetspoetry [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
