The Desperate cling of Innocence
Lives lost to ignorance
Tears hidden in the rain

The moon it shines for you
The non-judgmental glow
Reveal the beasts outside
The angel hides inside, True?

No role model to follow
No spirit left to guide
Choices of left or right
Tear me apart, depression follows

Half of me can understand
The rest disappears in chaos
Invisible to the gods
I'm a woman not a man

Hold for a time of love
Disappears like an atom in water
Drowning slowly without support
Can i fly away like a dove?

My arms are sore from supporting the world
Where's my support when i'm down
Invisible to all that matter
Unaccepted, stereotype of a girl

The cracks open up and swallow me
Climbing, Slipping off the rope
Where is my father
Somebody set me free

One or the other
Is how it shall be
Singular, alone here
In need of another

Once i had Love
All i needed
Then alone i suffered
And it goes on

Inside me i fight silently
Struggling, straining
A war against the world
That wont let me be me

I wish i were born right
That life would let me live
But i slip into the background
Crying every night

So one last time i'll cry
One last time i'll want to die
One last time they'll say no
But i'll be ok, because they
Say So
