Heartbreak Stew

Contributed by law_glen18 on Friday, 30th November 2007 @ 11:20:44 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

I think i loved you
I dont know what to do
My head has gone all hazy
But i keep on with you

But now it is all over
And my stress has now all gone
So i'm gonna party
And sing my little song.....

How to make a heartbreak stew
Throw in some beetroot
For the way you used to beet
And root me too

Sizzle in some Parsnips
Baby you know why
For the par 'o snips you made me get
that made me bloody cry

Stir in some lettuce
For the way they lettuce be
Although we laughed back in their eye
The just smiled and lettuce go by

There are more ingredients
For the Heartbreak Stew
But if you mix any more ingredients
The result will just make you spew

I rested on the weekend
The first one you were gone
Singing quietly to myself
The words of this crazy song

But sitting there i realised
The song is very true
With the taste of those ingredients
No wonder no-one likes heartbreak stew
