Regret that lasts a lifetime, depression that will not fade.

Paranoia grows from dark thoughts, trust is just a dream.

Experiences etched in memories, cannot forget mistakes.

Hatred forms from all the wrong, forgotten all the right.

Bitter and twisted, not the same person as before.

Hollow now, so much emptiness inside.

Closer to the edge this time, last step is too far.

Misery would cease to matter, but this can't be the end.

There must be something here, must be strong and resolute.

Faith and guidance needed, nowhere to be found.

Solitary and alone, cut off from the world.

Love can fix all wounds, sadly out of reach.

Time ticks by, growing older by the second.

Hope has gone, purpose is but dust.

Last step so much closer now, can see over the edge.

Try to shed a tear, but they just won't come.

Falling now, this has been enough.

Last thoughts, darkness starting to engulf.

Release and happiness, peace is mine at last. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 238 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Exitium [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

sometimes you have to look forward you have to make your self do it even if its frightening it cant hurt more then looking back
tomorrow is full of possibilities only you can make it happen. this is a very heart wrenching poem i know what it feels like trust me it can and will get better but you have to decide to make it happen it starts with you then you will be surprised
good luck

Faith is the substence of things hoped for, evidence not seen.
Acept God's forgiveness then forgive yourself.
Hang tuff.
Huggs, prayer,
emy
good work.
