Between him and I that night,
But I didn’t care,
Because I was there…
With him
And that’s all that mattered
I had forgotten what happened,
For just that time.
We were one again
It was just him and I.
Words weren’t at a high
But the addiction for those feelings…
Like, when he fills the space between my thighs
Yea, you know what I mean… those kinds of feelings.
No place for the conscious, I was a state outta mind
I don’t recall my mouth forming actual literacy
But then again… we did make some poetry.
My body to his, his body to mine
Accommodating every space with every line
Of our being.
This feeling of ecstasy took the best of me
The minute he laid next to me, and we drifted into fantasy.
Deeper and deeper, his lust inside of me
I don’t hold the innocence of an angel
But I was in heaven.
And I am no devil but I did sin
As his skin, soaked in intimacy, caressed my skin.
There were no closed doors
No folded arms, no guard up.
I was open to him,
And he was in.
Taking a journey and riding the waves
Of this corrupted sea
Full of storms to be
As he anticipated rain.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
