That I would be the one
what are the chances, I ask?
That I should be the one, now that
seems such an outrageous task.

Am I easy to hurt
because of my heart of compassion?
Am I easy to fool
my face at the height of pathetic fashion?

Easily used for my many moods
excuses to remind me of me.
Each one of you has picked me apart
so many holes through out, can't you see?

Can there ever be peace in a mind such as mine,
tormented by memories which haunt?
Constantly clouded by emotional tremors
shadowed images that twist and taunt.

Can I ever have a simple day
just a tiny blip in a measure of time?
Crawl in the woods and be forgotten
finally free from all these crimes...

This is beautiful in such a humble way, also sad and yet inadvertantly perceptive, you, are always truly you my sister laura and in total charge of your writting. You stand above the rest as a human being, as though saying, go ahead take your best shot, i'll simply put my pain in words and forget you were ever here. A truly lovey peice of poetic and emotional literature you have pened here, one can always rely on that gift you posess with the spoken word . . .

((((((peace and love 2u and your family)))))
