I follow paths of butterflies for they have traveled earth,
They gain the wisdom of their miles have values of true worth.
Their flight is light and baggage none, a preplanned destination.
No real agenda held in mind just wondrous fascination.

A symbol to my life today as I go through my flight.
Keep it simple, love it all, and try best to do what's right.
Enjoy the miles you travel through and keep them safe to heart.
Remember every minute as it ends back to the start.

I hope my wings have colours of the love that I've been shown.
I hope they pattern in the glory of the miles that I've flown.
For if my wings be dull and torn my life is not reflected.
Yet still is hope for just like they....I will be resurrected

How wise of you to notice, speaking of wisdom. You mix beauty with pragmatic
observance and add just the righht touch
of artistry. Such a splendid poetic merger
you bestow on us . . .

This was so beautiful and captivating in it's own ways. What a perfect way to show the butterfly and yourself.

Stunning write, my sister. I too love butterflies...their freedom, their long flights, their beauty and delicateness. You've penned this journey well.
Peace, love and hugs,
Little sis

Oh sweets .. butterflies have long since held a fascination for me, (especially the monarch, whom I've
loved since I was a child). This is why I've often used them in my writes, but wow, hun. This is simply stunning!
What a glorious metaphor and how beautiful to imagine ourselves as a butterfly, with the energy of our experience
colouring our wings. You always shower your writes with so much wisdom, it's hard not to fall in love with them.
But this one, in particular, I hold very near and dear to my heart. Exquisite piece, ND. Just beautiful.

~Breezy
[psst ... btw, your wings most certainly have the colour of the love you've been shown. And then some! ;) ]
