Whilst she sleeps the moonlight dances upon the sea,
and for a moment… the night seems eternal.

The sun rises with a smile, knowing that when she wakes
they’ll together illuminate all that is dim; each flower stealing
a hint of her beauty, butterflies visiting each petal, spreading her sweetness;
the white sand embracing her warmth … all that can love – falling for her.

Her tomboyish ways not enough to halt her efflorescence, as
a lustrous, silky sheen is formed. It is her very way that makes
this paradise what it is. Swaying palms wave to her across oceans
and islands, hoping to be graced with her presence one day.

An incidental glance upon a page and her beauty is revealed;
enticing lips as full as any moon, a stellar smile sparkling brighter
than any constellation, iridescent eyes that could shame any rainbow…
all that one could wish for, and so much more.

…and his heart quietly waits.

Each word was delicious and flowing with terrific imagery. I enjoyed it all the way through, but the emotion slammed into me when I got to the last line. Whew. It's so very humbling.
