Lost up in a world
that I don't understand
Caught up in a situation
and told to be a man

Saddled with some choices
though none of them my own
Forced to reap the sorrows
that others once had sown

Lured to live in chaos
though it's not of my own make
Left to find just how much
my saddened soul can take

Drown up in the flow of tears
that flood my weary heart
Thrust up in a war of woes
of which I want no part

Haled to bare the burdens
that are brought about to bear
Left to find that those we follow
do not really care

wordsy ... what a saddened and forlorn write. I am pulled in
a direction that besets me with anguish. How hopeless the painting,
you've etched with words. But how wonderful a write to evoke such
thoughts. Look out your window. Watch the chickadees, or blue jays ...
here the bustling of animals, smell the crispness in the air, feel the
rays of sun on cool skin. There is gladness even in sorrowed days,
my friend.

Exceptional word-working. Lovely to read you again.

~Breezy
