Mine father’s eyes here openly aligned
Thine lips in prayer and love most surely shown
For with his world thou needest not thy own

Teen: Why must I trust a man that few have seen?
The message- well- it can’t have truly been
The son of God- Creator of the earth?
Or rather a creation of this dearth?

Jesus: Dear child, doubt me not lest in your haste
You find one’s efforts sorely gone to waste
Mine father in his eyes sees all and more
You wish that thou must not to come before
His countenance whence sees into your heart
His mercy shines out if your sins depart
Come follow me now child of mine eye
I promise thou that you will never die

Teen: You come and tell me you are this great man
Emerging to the earth with some great plan
Yet proof mine eyes have yet to understand
Your promises well yes they are quite grand
Still one needst more than naught of any girth
If thou want for your plan to rule the earth

Jesus: My child you hear that not of which I speak
World dominance -of this I do not seek
My plan is but to save the life of you
And all the others’ lives shall be saved too
But faith you need and faith is yours alone
Thus with mine words forever may I drone
Dost thou take up the challenge thus allowed?

Teen: Your debate skills, well they must make you proud
Ignore the point, is all that you can do?
Thus I turn on the question back to you.

Jesus: Nay child I do not jest in my discourse
Each message that I send will be of course
Exactly truth; it lies inside of words
Salvation in the dove, holy of birds
For hope will spring with ease eternal life
So markedly without a call to strife
I am thy father eternally and one
So now my mission has thus just begun
Trinity, Holy Spirit, Father, Son
Mine reaches, they offer to you but none
Of those false promises one never kept
Down from a pedestal of truth I’ve leapt
To teach my ways as one of human birth
To show my people what they’re truly worth
Come with me now if you want lasting life
Come take with mine religion as your wife
Leave off your stuff and come to follow me
For in me all the truths will set you free

Teen: If what thou say is truth I must partake
So many things today just turn out fake
But with thy love perhaps I may survive
And come with you I will- it is my drive
Mayest I drink out of thy holy gourd?

Jesus: Tonight you dine in my house of the Lord!
