As it hits the floor I have to wonder,
just how I got here now?
To this moment, to this place,
what horrific thing happened?
But nothing did, really,
I was just a kid.
Moody, yes, a tad irritable,
labeled “Antisocial”
by a few who didn’t know.
Nobody paid attention, though,
to all the tell tale signs.
“That’s just how she is,” they said,
“that’s just what high school’s like.”
But is this what high school’s like,
watching your own blood?
And trying to remember
just what brought you here,
with the tears spilling down your cheeks,
as blood rushes from your wounds.
“It’s a trend,” said some,
so not understanding.
It’s not a trend, it’s addicting,
you just can’t get enough
of the salty tears running down your cheeks,
or the blood trickling from your wrists. [comments] => 8 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 36 [informant] => BeautifulRainbow [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

So many emotions and we are never ready for them at the age of this author. Let's hope this never comes true as life is worth pushing on.
