Linger

Topic: SecretLove

Too many words
to describe what I feel for you
You know, my heart flutters when I think about you
And no, I won't try and play games with you
I can see the venom hidden there
If your blood was a mixture
it'd be pain and anger
and indescribable things

I can see your colors
hiding from the world
not wanting to engulf us
destroy us more than can be perceived
So you'll paint that smile on
with a beer can to your lips
and watch me like I'm watching you
Couldn't take my eyes off
I'm sure you notice how I made
every casual glance linger

Could you feel me breathing
so hard?
The power of the mind
when erotic messages
need to be filtered
Something soft in the taste of your mouth on mine
desire and lust spun a web that morning
and i willingly walked into it.
I wonder,
Can you feel me when I'm not there?
because it's overpowering me

Every thought
touch, glance
that dewy look in your eye
the feel of your head against my chest
Tell me, tell me
If your heart's so big...
Can you promise me I won't get lost?
