My Question to You

Contributed by Fragile_Heart_Mortal_Man on Friday, 12th October 2007 @ 04:04:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Tell me, what would you do if everytime you feel like its finally true, it always turns around to be another broken promise or two? What would you do if the one you were completely in love with, was in love with you too, but, under his love that tries to shine through, lies a tower of overwhelmed anger and lies that only can be seen and heard by you? See to the world, this love of mine is far from being unstable and untrue, and to his friends he gives me blame for the things I never do. See what he never knew, is the things he chooses to say and do, are always what cause me to break in two. What I dont understand is why he puts a mask on for you or why he fails me when he promises to be true. If I only knew what else to do, with nothing left to say this is my question to you.*

Keep being strong for me. It's a long storm, and I know it's hard to hang on. I love you.

That's beautiful...
I can relate...
My husband is the same way...
Love can hurt and heal...
Hopefully, everything works out...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
