Array ( [sid] => 137777 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Good Enough [time] => 2007-10-11 11:10:18 [hometext] => This poem is about a boy who was been mistreated by his mother. He hates her and is making sure she doesn't hurt any after him. [bodytext] => Staring at these bodies, praying that the sun will never rise.
A murder walks the street tonight.
So alone, blood of friends on my hands.
I'm so alone living a life of lies.
I grew up so fast where did the years go?
You did this to me, threw my life out the door.
Sometimes it's never enough.
Don't forget to win first place, that’s what you told me.
Be a good boy, keep smiling, you got to measure up.
How long before I mess up and how many times do you have to tell me to hurry up.
Shut up, that’s the last thing you told me.
You said, that wasn't good enough, I should have done it the way you would have.
But I'm not you, now am I?
Harder, make me prouder, well ***** off I'm done being everything your not.
I just want to be me, be everything I know I can.
I'm done with it all, I can't take anymore pain.
Leave me be, I want nothing more to do with you or your friends.
It's over, I told them, you hurt me and I won't let you hurt anyone else.
There all safe form you know.
All it cost was my life, but then what life did I have being you toy, your not worthy son.
Well tell me, Mother was I finally good enough for you? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 141 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Gaia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
