Her happiness is now my sorrow,
My heart you pierced with an arrow,
I felt you were sent to me from above,
You, I truly did love,

But now I must forever close the door,
To all my hopes, wishes and dreams,
I am back at the beginning for she has all those things,
So farewell to all those lost years,
Farewell you sleepless nights and endless tears,
Farewell my love, we were never to be,
I loved you well, now I set myself free...

Wow. This was enormously moving. Bled out of the heart of one feeling hurt, but strong
enough to admit weakness and leave it behind. Tremendous!

I loved this line,

"her happiness is now my sorrow"

Holy heck, like a dagger through the heart. You said it perfectly! The ending had
a grip to it. Like a pain that dissipates with laughter, if you know what I mean.

Excellent writing and very inspiring.

What a magnificent write, such firmness in it's proclaimation, truly sad and yet such a
simple straight foward directness, and again, that last line, so touching and yet
such iorny in that statement. the quality
of your writting is the style itself, being
the way you present your case and what is conveyed by the reader . . . Most lovely.

Take care,
