Living in,
Gliding without,
Flying,
Never Ceasing, Changing

Glowing,
Afire,
Ablaze,

Lord, your spirit lives
Through all that exalt
Your name
Guides us through our lives
With a conscience
With morals

Yet we are turned
Even from the love that you send
To us from up above
We are swayed, we are tempted
And we give in to the evil

I cry out to all life
When I ask how
We can all throw away this
Love that I see in you
That you gave us

From the Stars you put
In the skies
To the son you gave to us

From the Pain of the flood
To the thorns upon your head

From the ignorance of your people
To the punctures in your hands

My heart cries out,
Why, How can we refuse this love?
This sacrifice that you have laid out
For us at no price?

From the disobedience of your first
Of your image
To the image that you create today

The sin that has existed then exists now.
And will exist forever. Forevermore
Will your image bearers disobey and turn against you

From the pierce in your side to the stakes in your hands
We cry for the pain
You had to feel
For Us

Lord I pray you make us servants
People with the attitude that makes
Others see what being a Christian means
What carrying your cross means

Possess us lord, fill us up, show us your way
Pick up your cross and follow
The glory that is
And forever shall be,
Living in Jesus Christ

He who testifies to these things says “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of the lord be with God’s People. Amen.
Revelations 22:20-21
