Never saw daybreak, just lived for sunsets.
Made lots of mistakes and loved everyone.
Thought he grew too old, though he never grew.
Compromise became his darkest secret.
Had a million dreams, never could pick one.
Feared disappointment in his mother’s eyes.
Never asked questions yet never believed.
Found truth in a stamp, “I survived the maze”
