Breathing gently against you,
Breathing gently against me...
The grave can't keep us apart
A million pieces of my hollow bones
But what will always remain is my heart
Something truly unbreakable
Undeniable, and unmistakable
For all in which it beats for
As I lay in my grave my love still stands
I am merely ashes in the wind
But my heart still sits in your hands
Let it beat, let it thrive
I am a ghost amongst the dead
But my love for you is still alive
Remembering the days I could feel your embrace
When my fingers would slide across the side of your face
Now I see the sadness in your eyes, so empty and alone
And I watch your tears hit the grass
As you lay beside my head stone
And you can't see me, but I know you feel me
Breathing gently against you,
Breathing gently against me...

A truely sad and heartfelt write from a unique perspective.
Great job on the rhymes and the wrap up.
