You tell me!!!! x [bodytext] => Waiting for my friend to come and meet me for some lunch
I did my normal People watching, spying rather motley bunch
Far over to my right hand side sat comfy on settee
Was a bottle blonde teenager as bold as brass could be

She opened her pretty girly mouth and words from there did come
Not only to show she had bleached blonde hair, but was really rather dumb
Her boyfriend wasn't smart atall as he shouted cross to her
Asking where her money was ,so more drinks he could or...der

Then standing at the Quiz machine a rather tubby lad
Getting all excited at the answers that he had
Then when it came to Soap TV he didn't have a clue
He looked around all worried not knowing what to do

The Barmen all dressed in T shirts a horrid colour RED
As they rushed around and dished out food making sure that all were fed
Some elderly people sat and laughed and talked about old times they had
Some they remembered fondly some of course were bad

Conversations fast and furious from friends that met that day
Trying to get in all the things said, the things they want to say
Knocking back the whiskys and the Gins and tonics too
Then trotting off quite regular to visit smelly loo

I find it so hard to concentrate when I really want to hear
The peoples conversations talked over a friendly beer
But soon my friend she would arrive and we would chat between ourselves
Instead of me just listening like norty little elf!

I bet you all do similar, and experience the same
Are we being nosey? Are we all to blame?
Aren't we rather norty, that we listen in with Glee
Or is that just the way I am ? I'm norty little Dee ;-) [comments] => 3 [counter] => 205 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Malcolmsdreamgirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I am a people watcher and have often sat awhile in the mall or bus terminal to view the lives of those around me. It isn't "nosie" I'm sure. I think we would just like to see how our life and world compares to others as we head into each day. It must just be plain old human nature. Beats sitting home and being consumed by your own self thought....Wonderful write...gotta go now the mall awaits....lol.

I study life constantly even at my age no your not rude or inhumand your wise to know your
opponent call life, that's just what life is one's opponent and we must never let it get the upper hand on us if possible. great write as usual, not to mention filled with good wisdom
