Our eyes met across a volley ball net.

I knew at that moment that you were someone special,
Who knew twenty one years later you’d still be unforgettable.

You’re no longer the sweet school girl I once knew and drove 2,000 miles to woo,
You’re now a beautiful woman, loving wife and a great mother too.

Seeing your beautiful eyes and warming smile again,
Reminds me of the love and kindness you hold within.

When I think of the words written before our time,
I’m reminded of who and what you are to this heart of mine.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

You truly are love and the love of my life,
And if I could undo time I’d be proud to call you my wife.

But our courses are set and sail on we must do,
Just never forget I will always, always love you.
