Life, look at how great it can be.
Don't you just fall in love with spontaneity?

Swimming can so easily become drowning.
Just like smiling can so easily become frowning.

We are all so comfortable with what we know.
We all so comfortably let ourselves flow.

I'm watching the world move around me.
I'm watching everyone else, but have I even found me?

Now I realize that I'm stuck
and if I don't like the man that I am,
then I'm out of luck.

I wonder as I wander if others think as deep.
I shudder that maybe figuring out life's complexities will only leave me weak.

A new face with a new story to tell.
What work it is sometimes to find what lives inside the shell.

I live in my mind.
I live in a haze
where days mesh
and clothes become flesh.

How can I distinguish and relinquish
what is already done?
Before all of my memories become one? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 231 [topic] => 73 [informant] => moses [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

moses, my friend, you have quite the piece here. SO much in
this to ponder and savour.

I would liken this write to life, in reality. On the surface, yes it
seems complicated, even abstract, but when we delve inside it;
submerse ourselves in it, if you will, we find a depth of understanding
we never thought we would, or could! This is exceptional.

Loved it. Especially that last stanza. Just, damn!

trying to look into what is felt and draw it out
maybe feeling somthing you missed or someone
this has power to it
and simpleness
it to myself is telling one maybe dig deeper, or hey you already have found.
wonderful post
