Floating on a dream
Whispers' calm... to hushed screams.
Mesmerizing sky swirls around me,
Touching and caressing my worn skin
like a mother touching her babe.
I see the pattern which falls over
everything, binds us all together
god, what a lot we are.

Paisley projectiles come
at me quickly revolving
in my space which surrounds
It is within the aura
Twisted lights glowing gold
Hot silver sometimes
Reminds me of a teardrop
falling down the longest face.

Fire comes in quick trails
up my broken spine
Vertebral column
Rattles in the cage
Vibrations that quake
the very core of a soul
that has lingered long, but Passion
and the flame, are inextinguishable....

Ah the thoughts that haunt a poets tortured poet soul.

A well woven rendering.

as always,

Good gracious hun! This part jumped out and seared my very soul . . .

"Passion and the flame, are inextinguishable"

Oh my , YES!!! Has any ONE statement ever been SO true??
Damn, I always love the pictures you put with your work and
this is powerful. It goes so well with the words you chose to
place beneath it. There is a mysterious feel to each line, but
a definite point taken to task here.

Gentle poet, my dear sweet sis and friend, you are tremendous.
Your soul is aching, but inside it all, you are releasing a power
that will ultimately help you on your journey. Exceptional writing.
(hoping for an ease of the pain and a clear direction for your soul)

peace, love and hugs

~MG

WOW! This poem grabbed me and took me along to it's excellent conclusion.
"Whispers' calm...to hushed screams"
Very vivid write. Superb imagery! And the picture that you posted with it fits perfectly! Enjoyed every line. Write on. I will read more.
Peace
Thumper :o)
