I came here to write
yet my words remain hidden
I came with ambition
yet nothing is written

I came with a fire
that's built upon passion
I came with tears
and a heart deeply saddened

I came with a need
that is yet to be filled
and brought forth my wounds
that they might be healed

I came here to write
this much I've said
to sum up my feelings
like raising the dead

I came here to write
or maybe just hide
from all of my fear
I've buried inside

And I am so glad you "came here to write". I enjoy reading you. This was a brief piece but it had so much to say.
Peace,
Laura

I think it is just the way of a true poet that even though when words have been put to paper it is never enough. A poet is always striving for more, for a better way to express how they feel, a way to soothe those doubts that not even extensive editing can provide. So although you have obviously written and posted on here it perhaps never feels like enough to get to the depths you are trying to plumb.
I hope that makes some sort of sense, but that is just what I took from this piece. Very well written also!

Take care,
Dom
