Array ( [sid] => 13681 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => A Farmer Of Souls [time] => 2003-03-04 00:00:00 [hometext] => If we love our Lord and appreciate His salvation of our souls, we will be glad to work, planting the seeds to bring other souls to Him. [bodytext] => I claimed a field
that hasn't been sown;
claimed it in love, to be my own.
Its work from my heart,
I choose to do;
the work of my days,
many or few.

I must plant the best seed,
but first I will till.
I'll pull out each weed
with a disciplined will.

The field's ready to plant now;
The right season is here.
Over years I now know how
to plant without fear.

Though I farm it with love
life doesn't begin
'till the power up above
sprouts the seed from winthin.

My work is not yet done
though the seed's now in;
careful cultivation,
I must do again.

I urge the earth gently
And patiently wait;
the harvest of plenty
will never be late.

There'll be a great day
of joy from my labor,
when the Lord's own joy,
my heart will savor.

There's no place on earth
that I would rather be...
than here,... farming souls,...
for the Lord, you see.

Only our kind,can ever see.....
The harvest of souls,that was meant to be.
You wrote so well,what I've always known,
One only reaps,what one has sown.
Angel always! Godspeed! 0:-)

Thank you, Lubnaan, for reading and commenting on A Farmer Of Souls. Its a title that would probably not appeal to many people. Yes, it may be somewhat cryptic which is okay poeticly, but my aim is to make the message so clear that a child can understand. Hope you will read my poems again. Bizzy 'Clean is beautiful!'
