morbid desire

You're beautiful
aesthetically yes, for all with eyes to see
but also in another way only for me

despair,
it seethes from your pores
runs down your sweet neckline
from over your jaw
it wafts and spills,
dismisses and kills
all other interest whilst giving me chills

it thrills me to think of the mind that's inside
that head of yours, locked behind sultry eyes
the torment and fear
that plagues you my dear
will end when you're near
I'll fill you with cheer

I'll drink in your kiss
and absorb your dark fire
you've lately become
my deepest desire

Well Torn Thomas, This was an edgy bit of romance. Sort of dark and very sexy. I loved your ending stanza....very nice.
Peace,
Laura

This is really great work...I love how you wrote this, as a dark romance, every line is really beautiful. I especially enjoyed the last stanza

Your words echo the warmth to even the most hopeless that love can be comfort. Well put indeed.
