I'm cleaning the closets and throwing out the past.
The bags are getting fuller and the pain is leaving fast.
Surrounded by the memories of wearing this for you,
Jewels, notes with useless words, the sexy high heel shoe.
Gone you things that bind me to the mind consumed by heart.
Seeking new surroundings to have another start.

Totally new creations, wearing freshened face.
Paint the walls, hang new pictures, nesting a brighter place.
Some may say it's therapy as cleansing as it feels.
I see it as erasing the pain, until this moment heals.` [comments] => 6 [counter] => 237 [topic] => 22 [informant] => needledancing [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

There is the air of realized healing in this uplifting piece. Still pain, but pain put in perspective. Enjoyed this read, Needle!

Changing your environment to adapt to current situations is NEVER a bad thing. I like how you worded this. I think everyone can relate to this at some point. Way to go!!! Woot Woot!! :)

works for me too, although I'm a real magpie for that stuff and find it hard to part with memories, even the painful ones. Great write - honest, open and courageous in what it reveals, and very inspiring.
