I have just recently been able to write about it in a satisfactory manner. [bodytext] => Inevitable woes dealt by crushing blows
delayed cremation to heighten the lows
Simplicity was not known to come cheap
savage of souls, but mine you can't keep

You took it all; my dying breath
spit me out when nothing's left
Trailing my hopes like something perverse
a reluctance to fail became the curse

Tracing the lips of the sunken ship
slippery slopes, can't grasp a grip
Scaling the depths of compulsions that crept
like salted remains of the flood that swept

In caked on remnants of a former self
bleeding internally but denied any help
In strokes of genius I was ousted from you
I finally realized; you obscured my view

I think scorpz (been awhile huh? lol) that everybody hits those lows at some point in their life. But what makes you stronger is the survival. No one's worth letting yourself get to that point. No one. And Im more than happy to see you held your chin up and fought through it, because you're stronger than that and you're more than that. Amazing write scorpz, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and again was not let down in my hopes for a good read. Remember, chin up. Lovely write.

well scorp ill have to come back to read your poem later...when i dont have the need to strangle this "man". i am glad you stuck around in the world of life, despite how much it stinks at times. that "man" should feel lower than low after hurting such a fine lady as yourself though. ::off to find some anger management classes::

Oh shoot Scorp...Darn..If I could I'd roll out a bunch more expletives. My favorite word being the "F". Sister, sister. March...god that is when my load of crap fell...OMG I wished you would of reached out...I'm crying like a baby because I think SOB what if I never would have been able to "talk" to you again. I so understand about life and it's crap that can just pile up, believe if not for my children, I'm not sure where I'd be...but then...now...healing has started and I'm like ...what if....what if I would have...You know. I know you know. *hugs you so tight* Sheesh I wish we all could get together for a big old group hug and cry. Man, this site helped keep me together sister....please stay, lean on us.
I am here. I want you here too.
Much peace, love and hugs,
Laura

Holy heck hun!!! In all this time that we've .. well ... been in touch
intermittently, I ... wow. Scorpy, my friend, there are not enough
pina coladas in the WORLD to overthrow this heartache ....

I sense there was more going on in your world than just this, hun.
The crap that you've had to deal with in your past (distant and
RECENT), is appalling. But look at what you've created from
this devastation. And how brave of you to share it as well ...

You have a strength I don't think you've even BEGUN to tap.
Sorry you went through this sweets ... it is a pain I wish none
of us should have to feel. But, WOW! when you disentangle and
spread it across the page, you do so with a power that is
deserving of great respect and admiration.

(Glad I guilted you ... lol or not .... okay .. forget the divorce ..
I'm keeping you forever!! lol)

*hugs you uber tight*

~Breezy

Freind,
All I can say is thank God you lived to write bout it.
I can relate as I too went thru the same dark valley, now I live to write!
I know it takes much to share this and I appreciate you much for sharing it.
thank God we're free.
In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep the faith and just be you.
You write like the prophets of old.
big luv, much huggs, always prayers,
emy

OMG Scorperiffic! ! ! And you are terrific!!!!!! Your note...... your poem :-( I think back....."what was "I" doing in March? Nothing that compares to this.

You know I love you. You know you're like a sister or a daughter to me. I'm glad you were able to get through this. I don't think I could have handled losing some else. No, I know I couldn't have.

Awesome poem but very painful indeed.

As Roxenator might say "You're a tough chicklette". You know that right? You ARE the Scorpenator. Please, please, please, I hope you never feel like this again....especially where it involves someone who masquerades through life by calling himself a man. You are worth way more than that!!!!! Sorry, I don't like giving unsolicited advice but this time I had to break my own rule.

Love,

TIMber

More than the poetry i felt more for the thought behind it...i tried something stupid too...not once...twice...and im glad i lived to see this day..***** happens...deep ***** happens...and yet we need to trudge along...it will still hurt, still pain, still suck and yet we need to walk...to see another day...
its stupid coz no matter what others say its only a temp relief...and you personally can feel the pain the most...hang on there is light somewhere!

I'm so sincerely sorry that you went through this, no-one should have to experience such devastating pain. In the depths of the darkness when you feel all your sorrows weigh on you it can be hard to believe that you will heal and be stronger for it, but I think simply that you have been able to put this on paper (or screen!) just shows that you are on that path.

This was a painful read to say the least, and I felt for you with all my heart. Glad that you are still here with us, and I'll be stopping by to take a look at your other work.

Hugs,
Dom

Scorpy, very well written piece of poetry, sad it had to come from such a sad personal story.

The lowest of lows can create some of the highest highs. Like this poem.

I've been to this page a few times already, Scorpichachitabean... and slipped away each time (temporarily, just) hoping that I'd somehow magically find words enough to put here next time I returned. Truth is... there just aren't words enough sometimes, you know? Damn. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that this life gets so damn hard to bear sometimes. I'm sorry that people hurt others - that you were hurt. I'm sorry that there is so much that seems to want to get in the way of happiness, of peace. I'm sorry that it's not easier. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I wish very much that you hadn't. (...and "sorry" seems so little and not nearly enough of a word right now)

Oh, Scorpipoo... I'm so happy to see you back here and posting. That you were able to write this and how you wrote is such a positive thing. That last line is terrific to see in the context here. I do so hope that no one (nothing!) ever gets in the way of your view again - and - that your view grows more beautiful each day!!!

Missed you... and I'm so very glad that it was only a temporary sort of missing,
~Snem

Hello Scorpy, having read your last two posts,I'm happy to see that inner-strength and poetry are pulling you through.
It's not the disguises of others that should be damned,it is our own blindfolds. When we realise that,as you see to have,we're on the mend.
You're a fine poet,

Den
