When we're apart
there is something missing
a piece that I long for
Even after all of this
our love is untouchable
undeniably real and naturally strong
In a short time we've lived years
Grown stronger, were made weaker
Crawled and walked...then ran
A love that has spanned eons of time
Tested beyond it's limits of sanity
Fought for, nursed and caressed
Standing on legs today
Wobbling but taking steps
I think we're on our way

| I had to read this twice...there was something about it...something I liked but couldn't put my finger on.....Then It hit me...It's frank and artistically done, blended in such a way that I can't help but applaud!!! |

I have the utmost admiration, faith and respect for you my dearest Hippie friend. You are an amazing woman. I have learnt so much from you. Your strength and ability to stay focused and over come all obstacles that You and Damon have had to face. You share a beautiful bond. You are soul mates and I know you'll get through this together. You're on your way there~

I'm so glad to read a poem from you filled with so much hope, it is heartwarming to say the least!
That is what makes this poem so miraculous, it demonstrates your acceptance and your strength to face whatever is thrown at you. There may be struggles still, but you are surrounded by people wishing to support and encourage you on your way (myself included).

Oh hun ... I don't know how I missed this, but I am SO damn glad to be reading it this morning. Wow. This is the
most heartfelt and honest testament to true love I've ever read. Truly. Damn beautiful and hopeful, it has brought
me near to tears, sis. I want so much for you and Damon. The love you share is exquisite! You are one of the
kindest, most sensible and intelligent ladies I know and I can't think of anyone more deserving of the benefits of
faith and loyalty, than you, hun.
