Not in any regular sense I would know
Our loved ones are needlessly dying
We're actually hating each other
Why because 'my god is better'
Greedy are raping nature
Our leaders just aren't
Neighbors won't be
Families can't be
Sad children
It is a pity
I know it
Shame

It is different this I know
How, I'm not certain
Why is unknown
I just feel it
Inside me
Different
Today
Now

It really needs to be understood
Whatever it is that's happening
Because it just isn't normal
We may not realize it
It's not natural
It can't be
It isn't
No

Is there anyone out there who knows
Would someone please explain it
I find it troublesome, you know
I would like to know what it is
Like those Damocles swords
These feelings are not right
They're dangling, looming
Haunting my thoughts
Even when awake
They're there
Impending
Defiant
Grim

No, well, never mind then...

Another awesome write and OMFG I was just reading a Dean Koontz book today "Strangers" and the "Damocles swords" were mentioned. Interesting.
Your writes are intense with your feelings all woven snuggly in. I enjoy reading you.
Much peace,
Laura

This was a very intense write, both in emotion and structure. The visual "funnels" that you used added some nice character to the poem overall. Thanks for sharing. :)
