Standing beside the bed, looking at you
You look so beautiful even in your sleep
I wish to look at you this way
For a minute if I can
Forever if I could
I sat down and move my face closer to yours
Felt so close that I could almost feel your heartbeat
So close that I could almost touch you
I leaned closer
And I almost stop breathing
I feel that I am looking at an angel
Brought by God to my boring life
You moved and it startled me
As I quickly stood up and hide behind the walls
Knowing you’re still asleep
I breathed in a relief sigh
Knowing I was just inches away from kissing you
I smiled and walked out of the room
Closing the door behind me
I whispered, ‘sweet dreams’.

I found you sleeping in the room
I walked towards the bed
