[hometext] => One of my favourite writes
[bodytext] => "You Were Expecting an Interesting Title?" There's a place in my head that I've often visited Where I walk upon the bank of the Lake that bears the Lady The one that brings happiness to the ones who are in need But as I walked upon the grass, I found the Lake was all dry And the Lady who once was smiling was full of sorrow She said "I'm sorry dear, but I've no happiness left to give you For I do believe that you might be as empty as this Lake" Well I know that you're not sure about taking chances At least not since the time when chance finally let you down But sometimes when you fall down, you find gold upon the ground And then everything that seemed so wasted suddenly has meaning And I wonder...if you were to look down beside your feet would you find gold or just another stumbling stone? And even though the sun will rise into the morning's boundary It doesn't mean that the moon and stars must surrender Even while the sun may shoot it's golden arrows, all along it's the moon that everyone is wishing on And when we step over the boundaries that have always held us captive We'll see that the only thing we ever feared was seeing a dream appear And then the heavens will unite in beauty And sometimes when the present is more than you can take You need to retrace the steps that made it all that way Or don't know you know that sometimes you have to travel backwards before you can start to travel forward? And I know your heart is beating steadily once again But would you allow the wind to try and speed it up? And tell me, would you, yet, allow me to restore the water? If you won't, then don't feel bad because I understand that anything worth having is worth waiting on And anything that's worth having is worth waiting on [comments] => 2 [counter] => 251 [topic] => 43 [informant] => asthenia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )
