bringing ideas and satire to lost daybreaks and empty shores
screaming at a voice only words can hear feeling like i am speaking in tongues
a sense of babble and coherent speech
lost in waves of electrons and bits
trying to find new views and more understanding
looking for a depth beyond the sea
sinking in self pity and wallowing in my own flesh
trying to breath

walking in senseless wonder and undivided pathways
threw these man made trails
feeling their should always be a better way then this rocky road
to many falling behind or slipping of the edge
and we call this the dawn of a new day
well i see no light but only shadow puppets on the screen

my time is short and so is he who pushes down on me
by the time i can rise he will be sitting in wealth
proud of his accomplishments
and a sense of rot right in his core
but i do not hate what he has done to us
he is a puppet
its the society's sects that are to blame
and the views the make us believe
till we are only shadows ourself
just empty shells
rotten

Hmmm another deeply passionate write on your feelings of life and this society.
When I think of your title and then the line
"he is the puppet"
I first thought of George Bush. Being a puppet to the elite Americans, the big corporations and the foreign holdings he is neck deep in.
Then I thought of the title and the line again and thought how the ones that report the goings on in the world are such puppets. They report only what they're told too. They report what the government wants them to. Reporters who have stepped out of mainstream and tried to report truths have ended up murdered.
Not sure exactly who your "puppet" is...but thanks for giving me loads to think on.
Well done.
Much peace, love and hugs,
Your sis...Laura
