[hometext] => to the unnoticed maintainers
[bodytext] => I am a maintianer on a C-17, a maintainer you ask, what does it mean? I am a soldier that keeps the planes in the skies, to deliver the troops and much needed supplies. I might not be on the front lines to show my might, but I do deliver the troops to the fight. Without maintainers the planes could not fly, and with out thier supplies many people could die. I am on call 24hrs a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year. And it will stay that way as long as I'm here. I gave up everything that I love, to serve my country and the lord above. We maintainers don't get the respect we deserve, but we are still proud to protect and serve. So when you sit on the couch and watch the news on terrorists at night. Just remember the people who delivered the fight. We are the ones who drop supplies, troops, and bombs. And it was us who captured Sadam. So when you sit out at night and watch the stars, Remember it is us who help put terrorists behind bars. We are the unnoticed hero's that most people don't hear, to protect the ones we hold so dear. I hope I made my point very clear, to remember the maintainers who keep the planes in the skies, so we can maintain your safety so you can sleep at night, why we work like bee's and maintain the fight [comments] => 1 [counter] => 1439 [topic] => 57 [informant] => rlcabe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => war )
