No one is to know how the cups got broken,
or how they got mended.
You can glue together anything
If the blood is sticky enough.

Revelations are so overrated in a world
That breeds irregularities.
Where everybody always wants to know “why”
But there are no reasons for reasons unknown.
Wounds just get inflicted and they fester.

I bled too much to undo my damage
You can hold on to what you want
I’ll pick up the pieces you leave behind
My cups are all smashed up now
Can I have some of yours?
I promise that the blood won’t look too bad
on your fine white china.
