I thank you all those who read and comment on this earlier. [bodytext] =>
Speeding rhythm of my heartbeat,
warmed up palm, the rolling down
pearls of sweat, my stammering voice
is a sign; my darling love is in the vicinity.

That willowy walk, Ho, that vibrant laughs
my sprite delighted and danced to the music
of my heartbeat in elation; yet fear of loosing
her confines me within.

Her body fragrance scuffs me to thrill
my nerves - letting my blood to gush through,
drowning me in intoxication of overjoyed
ocean of love.
Relaxing on my favorite bench, buried in trance
with her on my lap showering me with kiss; until
my tutor wobble me up and said “My boy
it’s time to do some reading too”

With a shattered dream, middle of my classroom,
stood stupidly blinking at my dream girl smiling over me.

As, I feel much the same as when first reading this,
let me say again...

How incredibly endearing & nostalgic...
& the ending, well, just beyond precious...

You are indeed one of the few, the brave...the sensitive male soul!!!*wink*

"endearing & nostalgic" (words I thieved, obviously, from MisfitMe's comments) - indeed!

It's sad, really, that we often forget how to dream as well as we did when we were younger. Making one's dreams come true requires first and foremost that we dream well, I believe... instead of that half-dreaming, hesitant sort of thing we tend to do as adults. I like this piece very much for its reminder to let oneself get swept away. Yes, we may potentially get caught doing so... ah, but I'd rather find myself sometimes awkwardly snapping back to reality than to not have dreamed at all.

Nice work, Franco -

ah, Franco, how soft and tender, as most of your writes are. I am quite taken
with them, actually. You write with a delicate heart that so many are afraid
to actually expose. I personally blame the harshness of the world for that.

What a reverie of thought and notion, my friend. And yes, as a couple
very fine poets quipped before me, delightfully nostalgic. I love how your
work does that to me. I fall into your words and suddenly I am dreamily
and happily floating among the stars ... or clouds ... or wherever my fancies take me....

(thank you for that)

just too gorgeous

Your beautiful words are like feathers, a soft and gentle caress.
I'm a bit of a daydreamer at heart, always have been, but not many of us can still dream like we are children, unrestricted by practicalities. There is lovely innocence in this, a wonderful write!

Take care,
Dom
