He beat her violently and sadly she'd soon be dead.
He beat her with his fists and even with a baseball bat.
She was only four years old, only a monster could do that.
Her mother just stood there and didn't even try to stop the attack.
That sweet little girl was murdered and nothing can bring her back.
That situation was very disturbing and it outraged me because it was so grim.
People were waiting outside of his house because they wanted to get their hands on him.
The police arrived and put that animal under arrest.
During the four years that the girl lived, the world was truly blessed. Yes a monster indeed, I cannot even believe these things go on but sadly they do. I know first hand. You shared with the world the reality of the abuse our children suffer.

Sad so sad

Michelle

Randy,
Very heartfelt write....As a parent, I cannot imagine a child enduring this pain. Have you seen the video yet with the child "possibly" under the influence of Ecstacy? The little girl rides on the floor of a van, while ignorant teen-age girls and her mother, poke and prod and her and refer to many drug references..."girl you rollin'" etc...I try to be a peaceful person, I try to live a peaceful life, but when you hear of people messing with children in such a way....well, I for one get angry. There are truly some monstrous individuals in this world.
Much peace,
Laura

Reality can be so awful sometimes and the words "only a monster could do that" as you've embedded them in this piece, are painful for their truth. I simply can't reconcile that human beings can be such monsters. Honestly... I don't even want to be able to. There are, though, sometimes those undeniable reminders that one can't ignore... the news is filled with them.... and this, too, would be one of them. Potent. And yes... painful as well.
