Intellect? What dare you say of that?
Is it remembered data or a well fitted hat?
Is it memory or soul experience we see?
Who do we be? How can we be free?
Is it accumulated data? Updated by mind?
Is it lost and forgotten in the pages behind?
I think I know the answer but my voice grows so weak.
The answer to all is one we should speak.
If we can believe that we are 90% heart.
Wouldn't that be an incredible start?
If we bore compassion as we bore fame,
Do we care for our comrades? Do we value their name?
Oh lost be the souls who seek only themselves,
For our hearts be the hunters, removed from the shelves.
