Ben [time] => 2007-07-09 06:32:32 [hometext] => Maybey we should think of what love could take from us before falling in love, instead of what we can take from love and then bolt the scene when it becomes to inconvienant to stay. [bodytext] =>

I could have said i loved you

and held you in my arm's, hung around

for just awhile persuaded by your

charmes.

You could have used me to the hilt

like women did before,

break my heart then watch me wilt

scared forever

more.

I could have waited paitently

and then had sex with you, lying through my teeth

the way a lot of men would

do.

Because you were so beautiful

contrary to the ruel, you could've cheated on me

and played me for a

fool.

But in stead you love'd me

you tamed my very will, you knew i love'd you

so damn much another man i'd

KILL.

But you saw something in me

that a woman's born to

see, that thing that make's a women

called commited

destiny.

It wasn't merely beauty

or some sleasy quest for lust,

and better men i'm sure you knew

could've left me in the

dust.

I could have said i love'd you

your the answer to my dream,

make some kids then leave you with our marriage

in midstream.

Then you might have left me

it wouldn't be hard to do,

leaving me to bare the pain of geting over

you.

Yes all these things we might have done

in stead we fell in love, yet neither one of us believed

in someone up

above.

How

can it be?

i ask of me

two hearts

can love

so true,

i'd be a freaking nightmare

without the thought of

you.

To wake up every morning

and not see you lying there, growing old alone

thinking love was so

unfair.

We were more than just two people

soon in love to be,

we were what the angels called, commited

destiny.

Wow, you made me cry again. Damn this was so honest. Believe me, I needed to read this. Some days I feel my self loosing faith, and then I read you and strength I do find, once again. Thank you, Ben for sharing this, really.

Much peace, love and hugs,
Laura (who always loves discovering what you have written)
