Single Life

Single Life

A single life is very hard
when you have to live alone
Everything you have to do
you must do on your own

No one there, to give your love to
and show how much you really care
The need for someone to love
and your life to enjoy and share

Being single is truly most difficult
as you are growing older
No one there for you to hold
and if needed, lean on their shoulder

You need someone to share your love
and be loved in return
Start the fire once again
that will constantly burn

Within both your bodies
and chase the single life away
Once again back to life
both of you enjoying each day

Yes I must agree, we all need someone.
TO me it is sad to watch so many chase everyone from their life then to read something as beautiful as this though touched with a bit of sadness knowing there are many that want someone near them.

A masterful work you have accomplished here Bruce.

Huge hugsssssss

Michelle
