Why does my heart race
When I see your face?
Why are my day thoughts
The same as what night wroughts?
Why is your visage
The one and only image,
That lives within my mind
Growing stronger all the time?
Why when I travel
Do my thoughts unravel,
And on top of that pile,
Only you with a smile?
Why do I turn to butter
Each time a word you utter,
Directed at only me?
I’m not worthy ,don’t you see?
Why did God above
Send you for me to love?
So why must I love you?
I don’t know why, I just do!
