Array ( [sid] => 135567 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => A Moment In Time [time] => 2007-06-26 19:44:17 [hometext] => I was inspired to write this poem when i discovered the word soliloquy, i just knew i could wrap a beautiful poem around this word [bodytext] => There is that quiet hour
in the midst of the gray
morning sky

As I silently contemplate
the nights end eclipsing
itself by the whisper of
a breath

Dawn now breaking across
a feathered landscape as
it reveals it's silent
soliloquy for only myself
to hear

How effortlessly the warm
sun glides up over the
horizon as if portraying
a spectacular formation
for my eyes to behold

The glow of the sun
descends upon my face
gently kissing each cheek
Eyes closed, lips warmed
this joy transcending all
that I am, all that I feel
threading this very moment
into my fabric forever...
