Before The Tale Has Ended

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Monday, 25th June 2007 @ 11:53:29 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Feeling suffocated under this cloak of pain
My limbs so cumbersome
To ambulate feels as though I tread through
the thickest swamps of south

To drown in sorrows is to die
Like water for the victim under
Thoughts fill passages, choking breath
Constriction... blood vessels burst

Crying loudly but not one can hear
Muffled sounds echo in darkened minds
Linger the cobwebs which hold the evils
Capacity is filled...floating freely now

To be alone but surrounded is dreadful
Hands wave but smiles began to fade
Distant suns only glow so long
Before the tale is ended

Oh, hun that last stanza is heartbreaking! You use such potent images throughout, I really feel your pain.
"To be alone but surrounded is dreadful"
This line says it all, to be so alone in your suffering even when it does not have to be this way is a terrible thing indeed.

Hugs

Dom

Sweetie, there is a light .. there is!

There comes a point where everything that you've ever said; everything that you've ever
done, comes back in waves of remebrance and you stop to think .... is this what that was
all leading to? Lost, alone, afraid ... these are things I wish, (Oh GOD! how I wish), were not
akin to the human experience. Sadly, each much endure is own "hell" so to speak in
turn, so that all the sunshine of brighter days can spring forth new hope and allegiences.
What I most long for now, is that you find, in these tortured days, a soft kind of peace and
a reason to continue loving. The road is long .... we are here for you.

Devastatingly painful, but all too beautiful words, hun. You write with such passion and
emotion; there is no escape from the movements within. Exceptional.

*hugs you tight*

~MG

Sis Laura

this is heartbreaking and makes me feel so deeply for you. I hope that from the bitter frost a beautiful rose shall rise to greet the day basking in the light of warm sun and the rays of light and hope wrap around you. You Laura are that beauitful rose. Never forget I love you....... we all love you.

hugs to sustain the pain
tissue to dry the eyes
love to carry your beauitful heart

Painful, but, then again...who among us knows where we're going 'til we find where we belong...

still here
