All I can see is the sky

The wind is blowing through my hair

I don't look down

That would be pointless

I know what I would see down there

Billions of faces looking up at me

Begging me to reconsider

A decision I'd already made

I walk to the edge of the building

I'm breathing slowly and deliberately

I can no longer be afraid

I spread my arms wide, I close my eyes

And by a sudden circumstance

I glance down and I see you

You are looking at me with your beautiful brown eyes

They hold me and don't let me go

You start your way toward the building and the crowd lets you through

For a second I reconsider my decision

Because I know you'll be up here soon

You'll try to save me like you did before

This time is different though

You said it yourself

You don't love me anymore

I hold my breath for a second

I try not to think of you

A single tear rolls down my cheek

I close my eyes I have to do this

I can't be held back

I feel so weak

I think back to all the good times we had

And the last time I fought with you.

I remember what you had said

I put my feet on the very edge

I close my eyes and start to fall

You take my wrist instead

You pull me up and away from my death

And into your arms once again

Your face and mine are inches part

I bury my face into your chest

And cry helplessly as you hold me

You were the one who broke my heart

Why have you come back?

Why couldn't you let me go?

You whisper in my ear that you love me still

I turn my face up towards yours

You kiss me lightly on the lips

I feel my heart starting to heal

Rain starts to come down over both of us and you hold me

You say that you'll never leave me again and take my hand in yours

I'll stay in that moment forever and forever I'll be with you
