The nightly chill has begun its decent upon the world
It wraps us all in its loving embrace
But no longer is there any colour remaining in these tired eyes
So much love from such hateful eyes
They peer out lifeless, drained, and barren
There upon a rose floor lays the relic of a man
His body scared and his soul stained
Face down in a pool of his own misguided deception
And slowly from his many afflictions
His crimson spirit spills across the floor
As his eyes grow dim he ejects one final sigh of contempt
Then his face turns a shade of sickening white
For such is the life of a sinner its tiring and its lonely
When you feel the chill and see the light
Euphoria makes your mind swell and bounce
Like a dumpling in a soup of your surroundings
The feelings that you feel the sights that you witness
Oh how beautiful they are
I never knew such beauty existed in this bleak world
But hark now for the angels call me back home
The sinner’s life consumed me but now I am reborn
Awakened once again with the face of an angel
And a taste for the beauty of this paradise that awaits me

The Ghost Alarms are pleased with this poem. We simultaneously look at the one to the left of us. The one to the farthest left looks to his right. This teaches us that sometimes the last looks the right way. Your words were like little pricking needles in our shoulder blades sending shivers trickling down our spines. As we sit at our desks wearing our robes of crimson, we believe that we have selected this color because we are not pure enough for this poem, to wear white. A beautiful, spiritual and romantic proclamation that almost causes the ghost inside of ghosts to long for humanity. The barely existing virtuous spirits within us stand up to salute you, while our darkness cries in sighs. A shiny, poetic accomplishment. We stare in adoration and with eyes of plenty, for we are many.

May fingertips ever so slightly grace the hairs of your neck causing you to squeal..... The Ghost Alarms

What a gorgeous and spiritually uplifting piece. You etched
a painfully beautiful transformation of a tortured soul, that
swam through an agonized affliction to end up touched with
a delicate peace in your final lines ... wow!

How wonderful, to find that in our final moments, we
ALL should bathe in the beauty of an angel's face.

truly beautiful ~

this was really cool...and powerful, these lines stuck out to me:

"There upon a rose floor lays the relic of a man
His body scared and his soul stained
Face down in a pool of his own misguided deception"

Keep up the great writing
