It would be really nice though
But I’m not greedy

You can’t have everything in life you want
Of that I have no doubt
And when someone tells you they love you, now
Take that chance and don’t back out

So many people don’t find love
And end up living alone
Regretting the day they had their chance
But turned and bolted back home

Regret ways heavy upon you
Makes you feel bout’ 3 inches small
Id rather regret something I had the nerve to do
Than regret doing nothing at all!

When all’s done and dusted
And you’re buried six feet deep
No angel can come and wake you
From your never-ending sleep

Life is meant for living
Who cares what’ on the ‘other side’
Make the most of all your given
Hold your head high and walk with pride!

You don’t have to love me
You don’t have to need me
It would be really nice though
But I’m not greedy
