Like a stroke

from an artist's paint brush

my life you beautify,

a velvet vision of flawless precision

in this beholders

eye.

Your the cause

i'd willingly die for not to mention

the reason i live, that one indiscretion

i'd lie for and no defence would i

give.

You are the love i'd never deceive

engraved in my conciousness,

a beauty that angels would not believe

and yet would envy no

less.

I love you in ways i can't explain

then strange are the ways of

love,

with you i could stand in the pouring rain

and still see the stars

above.

Knowing that when

the rain was through you would be all

i saw, a beauty that ruel's the universe

defying natural

law.

Living a thousand life time's

would not be enough

for me,

a man loving you

the way that i do would need an

eternity.

your the words that flow from a poets pen

that sleep in my memory,

the song in my heart remembering when

you and i first came to

be.

Like a stroke

from an artist's paint brush

so soft as an angels

chant,

the

beauty of you

could certainly woo

even the heart of

rembrandt.

Ben

The Ghost Alarms are in almost total agreement. We mostly feel that this was an outstanding well written form of the poetic arts. Though a few among us are not thrilled with the spacing. As we sit at our desks discussing the abilities of Dante and the majesty of Poe and Bach we find in your work that darkness isn't everything. Even Poe ventured out of it from time to time. Obviously, this has nothing to do with your write so allow us to continue on this poem. Living a thousand lifetimes would not be enough.....that line and that stanza well it captured the heart of all of us. Yes we nod in agreement. This is powerful and is a spice in this poetic stew you have created from your poetic culanary. Amazing and fluid, we love the work.

We cheer and that is a lot of cheering for we are many!

You are fabulous and so was this write. Made me cry again, darnnit. Gosh love is so fine. You make it seem like a dream, Ben....a beautiful dream. I am so happy for you. You two are some lucky peoples.
