Confusing how life takes twists and turns
How one day you’re here, next day your not
Stuck between worlds you can’t remember
Living a dream with a hazy view.

Look to the north to see the future wish
The past has left many scars to overturn
My life lay in ruins before my very eyes

This was a wonderful piece of poetry filled with picture-perfect
imagery and excellent metaphors. Great job ... don't be too
worried about people "not getting" your writes. Poetry is
sucha subjective art, (as is MOST art, methinks), and
not everyone is going to see what the poet intended. Besides,
a write does not have to have a meaning, in order to be
appreciated. Just write what you feel .. the rest will take
care of itself. Personally, I think it best to not even explain,
just let the reader take what they take from it. That's how
poetry should be ~
