Array ( [sid] => 135306 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Eternal Void [time] => 2007-06-17 09:16:27 [hometext] => Written about all the people ive known and lost over the years, there are so many! Some dead, others just gone. It hurts, and sometimes I want to go too. [bodytext] => The rain falls,
soft against the window.
Creating watery patterns.
And in each one,
I see your face
before it silently falls away.
Like me.
Falling into a nightmare,
so deep
so eternal
that none can pull me back.
Haunted by ghosts,
of a past long forgotten.
I watch the sky,
the magic it holds.
To feel something so intense,
ended, before it began.
I stand outside,
unafraid,
in the rain.
Every drop like a pin,
falling, shredding my skin.
I want it to stop.
I want to cry out.
Instead, im OK,
being beaten by the rain.
It strips away my thoughts,
like a blade.
Until at last,
Immortal darkness prevails.
Peace in an eternal void.
Finally
I’m Gone.

Very sad and emotional, there is a terrible sense of desolation in this poem, facing the rain alone that is heart-wrenching.

Take care,
Dom
