The night sleeps in your eyes,
And I, lost in the labyrinth of your soul,
Fall deeper into a starless nothing,
As you enfold me in your black passion…

Your hands of ivory sin and demonic seduction,
Caressing tales of midnight corruption,
Lips whispering down my neck,
Sweet suffering as your drink my life away…

Dancing in a maelstrom of moonlit decadence,
I sigh your name as you steal my innocence…
Bathing in this dark romance, I shed my mortal skin,
You kiss me as I descend into my grave, promising

I shall rise again.

There are a lot of vampire poems on this site (or so it seems). This was definitely a wondeful work. One of the best I have read on the subject. Great flow and good choice of words.

BRAVO!

SCM

You are one of a those people who
can enthrall me with their writing and
a master at summoning superb images
of nocturnal sensuality. One can feel the
teeth upon ones neck as they read this.
Your words have sent chills through me
again!
Excellent poetry and very inspiring as
always. Your fan , Doug

Oh Stepy, you've posted again! YAY!!!!

I can't tell you how wonderfully evocative and sensually captivating
I think your writes always are. They just eat my passion RAW, hun!

You are truly a master at this .. there is such an irresistible dark
desire always dripping from your words. And one, that I can't get
enough of, (nor can most, by the comments on your work).

Beautifully inspiring and oh! so hauntingly wonderful!!

I always find it amazing how such darkness can be made aluring. Yet here you have done it! Amazingly seductive and deeply dark.

ohhhhh... I like the last three lines here. There are (yes!) those moments when we shed our own mortality and somehow die and rise again on the same earth for having had an experience that seems so perfectly other worldy.

Presented, perhaps, as a dark write... a vampire inspired piece... but I found something really rather beautiful here. Surrender, whether by choice or by virtue of being too overwhelmed not to do so, can be an extraordinary thing.

I've been too long away from your page, methinks....
