I hear a knock on the door and my heart soars, thinking that you have come back.
I go to the door to see what it is and I realize that its just the wind.
I no longer can take this feeling.
I don't want to be a prisoner anymore.
I'm done hurting.
I'm done crying.
Your not my life anymore, and you never were.
They say if you love someone let them go.
So I guess it's clear you were never mine to begin wtih.
Sure I miss you, and if I could go back I would.
But I can't so I must deal with this hand I have been dealt.
Right now I'm in the dark, with a blanket for the cold.
The sun will come soon and I will smile again.
And only then will you understand how much you have truely lost. touching write......the part about the knock on the door only to find it was the wind God that is powerful the excitement then the let down.

In the dark with a blanket for the cold....

so many words to play the heart song within this write.

Nicely done
Michelle
